So, when I render, I never get what I expect. So, I trim it again, and this time it goes back. Sometimes it starts from 5 seconds after or below the clip. What happens is I position it well, trim where needed and then when I play back, the video itself is no longer correct. When I place the play marker at the start of the clip to preview, I no longer know if the display is correct. So, when I place a video on the timeline, and let's say I trim a little at the front and back. Issue 4: Has made me consider going elsewhere. I can click the up button but they still ask for it then. From that point on I can click on anything in media pool and the screen just shows the folder I am in.

Often I will click desktop or PC or some folder and nothing happens. Nothing works.Ĭontinuing on in media pool. I have restarted my PC, ran the program as administrator. But, the problem being why can't media pool show the media? It used to do this in every past version without exception. If you look at file explorer I have several external folders on the left. But media pool doesn't see my clearly mapped drives. If I can no longer drag, then my only option is media pool. All my stock footage, intros and outros, segment pieces are all on an external drive but won't show up anymore. They are mapped to my system and alive and well but they won't show in media pool no matter what I do. And today I get on and in the media pool it no longer lists my external hard drives. Issue 3: I do all my content pulling from media pool because the drag no longer works. Maybe someone can email me the file and tell me where to put. The settings also talk about the mpeg2 being downloaded when it is needed. When searching the help document, it refers to things I have never seen before like "Advanced Settings" where is this exactly? If that all wasn't ad enough, the next two things took it over the line to me. Maybe someone can tell me what exact folder is their mpeg2. MXMPEG2 Error 0110: no media decoder found Issue 2: All of a sudden, it no longer lets me import. But I managed basically using the media pool. I used to have my desktop open on my second monitor and would drag files as needed on to the timeline. It just shows a "no icon" a black circle and line. Issue 1: No matter what I do I can no longer drag files on to the timeline. At the current state I can't work any more with all that is wrong and after 5 or 6 years, maybe it is time I hung it up and moved on despite the learning curve that will surely follow. So, I noticed a few issues a few weeks back and fought through them. I have the most up to date version of MEP Premium I believe.
